Friends and family have trusted me to pet sit their animals in their homes for many years. I have owned both cats and dogs since I was born and am an experienced animal lover. I have been trusted to give medications, feed, play, and walk dogs of all shapes and sizes. I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for several months, and am comfortable handling all types of cats and dogs. I used to volunteer at the SPCA and l love to be a safe space for all animals. I also am a foster for GEARS when I have the time and space.

I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets, whether in my home or my client's home. For indoor activities, I provide toys and engage pets in playtime to keep them mentally stimulated. I also make sure they have cozy spaces to rest. I always maintain open communication with pet owners regarding your pet's well-being. When caring for pets in a client's home, I will adhere to their established routines to minimize stress. I ensure that feeding, exercise, and playtime are consistent with what they are used to. I respect the pet owner's house rules and preferences, and I will always leave your home clean and secure. I understand that every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to meet their individual needs, whether it's specific dietary requirements, medical needs, or just extra cuddles and attention. My goal is to provide a loving and attentive environment where pets feel happy and safe.

Emma was phenomenal and when I returned home Charlie was relaxed and his normal happy self. It gave me peace of mind to have Emma stay overnight. I would highly recommend her and would definitely book her again. Thank you again Emma!
Emma took amazing care of my two dogs and cat, I came home to some very happy pets and had no worries about them while I was gone. Emma provided great updates. Would absolutely book her again!
Emma was great ! She sent us great pictures of our pups enjoying their walks with big smiles. She made us feel very comfortable leaving our pups in her care and they loved her right away !
Emma was fantastic. She took care of our pets while we had a weekend away. She communicated clearly and consistently, and sent photo updates as well. Our pets were happy and relaxed when we came home. Our dog, who can be timid and unsure, seemed very happy with Emma. Would recommend and would use her again!

Schedule
I am currently working full-time, but I am available for house sitting. On weekdays, your dog(s) would need to be comfortable being left alone for 4-8 hours. However, on weekends, I am fully available to spend time with your pets. I can also do drop-in visits in the mornings or evenings during the week and anytime on weekends, including dog walking.
