Before watching a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, any medical needs, and what makes them feel most comfortable. I like to ask about feeding times, potty schedule, exercise needs, and favorite toys or activities. It’s also helpful to know if they have any quirks, like fear of loud noises, separation anxiety, or reactivity to other dogs, so I can give them the best care possible. If there are any commands or training cues they’re used to, I’ll be sure to stick to those too.

During drop in visits, I keep pets engaged with playtime, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or brain games like treat puzzles. For pets who love snuggles, I’m always happy to give belly rubs and couch time too. Every pet is unique, so I tailor activities to what they enjoy most, whether that’s a long walk, a cozy nap, or just spending time together. My goal is to make every day feel like a mini vacation for your pet while you’re away!
