I am beginning a new, full-time job towards the end of June. However, until then I am available the entire day, which means I’m available for morning drop-ins, mid-day walks, and evening care before my shift. I am fully flexible and can accommodate a wider range of visits and walks. I’m great at managing my time and always make pet care my top priority.

I treat every pet like they’re part of my family. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow any and all instructions and respect the space by keeping things tidy. I ensure to give all pets the attention and care they’re used to, whether that’s walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles. I always make sure food and water are fresh, litter boxes are clean, and that pers are safe and happy before each time I leave.

Before watching a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, any medical needs, and what makes them feel most comfortable. I like to ask about feeding times, potty schedule, exercise needs, and favorite toys or activities. It’s also helpful to know if they have any quirks, like fear of loud noises, separation anxiety, or reactivity to other dogs, so I can give them the best care possible. If there are any commands or training cues they’re used to, I’ll be sure to stick to those too.
A typical day
During drop in visits, I keep pets engaged with playtime, whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or brain games like treat puzzles. For pets who love snuggles, I’m always happy to give belly rubs and couch time too. Every pet is unique, so I tailor activities to what they enjoy most, whether that’s a long walk, a cozy nap, or just spending time together. My goal is to make every day feel like a mini vacation for your pet while you’re away!

I’ve been around animals my entire life, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and care. I have years of hands-on experience from growing up with pets and helping care for those of friends and family. I’m especially attentive and calm when it comes to pet behaviors and noticing changes in mood. Whether it’s playtime for a pup or quiet companionship for a senior cat, I adapt to what your pet needs most.

Emma did a wonderful job watching our dog Finn. She was on time to pick up the key, and sent me pictures and texts throughout the booking so I knew Finn was fine. She played games with him, walked him and fed him on schedule. I know Finn was happy because he was not anxious when we got home. He is usually very needy and clingy after we have been away. This time with Emma, he was totally chill when we got home. I eould book with Emma again in a heartbeat!🐕👍
Amazing rover. I was in a time crunch needing to make sure my baby got her inhaler while I was gone and Emma went above and beyond!
Emma was punctual and very communicative. She did great walking my dog!
Emma was great with our dog! She arrived on time each day at my home as scheduled while my family and I were out of town. She was professional and friendly the entire time. She also sent pictures of our dog from each visit.
