I have been around dogs my whole life and my current pup Brody has been one of the loves of my life for the last 10 years. I love meeting new dogs and I really enjoy getting the chance to understand them so I can provide the best care based on what they need. I have done pet sitting for friends and family on and off since I was a teenager but it wasn’t until I started volunteering at the humane society in Kalispell (only for a short period, right before COVID) that I got serious about professional dog/pet care. I am originally from Reno, Nevada, and I worked for a dog care business where I went through dog training and behavior courses that provided me with newfound knowledge and skills. My regular duties at this job included in-home dog sitting, drop-ins visits and walks during the day and training and behavior modification (as needed), on a daily basis for multiple clients. I am so grateful for the experience that job provided because it has allowed me to feel confident with any situation I am in with any type of dog. I joined Rover because I truly love and enjoy taking care of animals and I will be so happy to meet your pup.

She's detailed, on time, and provides great updates. Emma goes out of her way to take our dog on good long walks. She's watched our dog more than once now, and will be one of the first calls we make when we need help in the future.

Beau had such a great time with Emma and Brody! Our doggo is a pretty anxious guy and he settled very quickly and Emma had no problem with him. He got plenty of walkies and even a couple of car rides. Emma also provided daily updates and photos that were much appreciated. 15/10 would recommend Emma to watch your furry friends.
Emma was great with Sherman! She communicated very clearly, sent long, detailed updates on how he was doing, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up which was really nice! She met up before to make sure her pup and mine got along and made sure to give my dog a lot of attention and time that he needed to feel comfortable! Would absolutely have Emma watch my pup again, definitely recommend!
Emma was great!! Super communicative and lots of pictures! Bullet had the best time and I felt so at ease having him with her.

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I can easily adapt to your dog’s daily routine. When I’m not working I love to go hiking, so your dog will have lots of outdoor adventure time.

I live in an apartment with my 10 year old pup Brody who is dog friendly and loves making new friends to play with (he will also keep his space from dogs who may not be as playful). My apartment has a good amount of space and lots of comfortable places for naps and cuddles. Because I have a very small, public and unfenced yard, all bathroom breaks will require walks on a leash. I can take your dog on hikes or to dog parks per your approval. I value your dog’s comfort level greatly and I have experience working with anxious and timid dogs that may need some patience and support adapting to a new setting and caretaker. I have also worked with senior dogs that require multiple medications and will be happy to make sure those are administered properly. My dog sleeps on my bed and your dog can sleep wherever they will feel the most comfortable.
Pets
A typical day
I work from home full-time and I live by Franklin Park. On the days that I work, I usually do a morning and afternoon walk around the park and in the evening I go on a longer walk at Blue Mountain, Waterworks or up the Rattlesnake. On my days off I will take the dogs on a longer hiking trails and make sure they get lots of outside time.
