I've been caring for animals for over 7 years and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, and other small animals. A few years ago, I worked as both a kennel caretaker and veterinary assistant, where I earned my Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) certification. That experience gave me hands-on knowledge of animal behavior, administering basic care, recognizing signs of illness, and handling pets safely and compassionately.

I currently offer drop-in visits in my clients' homes, where pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to follow each pet's routine, including feeding, fresh water, medications (if needed), litter box or yard care, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. With my background as a Certified Veterinary Assistant, I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and careful observation to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I know being away from your pet isn’t always easy, so I like to send photos after each visit to help reassure you that they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for!

I highly recommend Emma for all your pet car needs! She has taken care of our two dogs several times for a week or longer. Our older dog got sick one of the times we were away and she did a phenomenal job taking care of her. Emma took her to the vet to get diagnosed, bathed our dog several times because she got sick in her kennel, communicated with us and sent pictures of our dogs so we could see them. She even took a video of how to give the medications and sent it to us because some of the meds were complicated. We will have her watch our dogs again!!
