I have had animals ever since I was little. A home really doesn’t feel right without them! I had our lovely Jack Russel until she was 22 (!) and have had many cats, our own from kittens and rescued over the years, who lived until their mid 20s also. I have a calm and patient nature which I believe is important when meeting new pets as they need to feel comfortable with you on their terms. I have and still do dispense tablets & syringe medicine to our cats and dogs for their different ailments. I work for myself which means as long as I have my laptop with me, I can work from anywhere, which I hope gives you the confidence that if your pet needs a little more time rather than just a pop in and feed/water, then I can do that.

Safety, trust & environment
I will not be offering boarding at my own house so this does not apply. I will always keep your dogs on the lead when walking, for my own confidence but also yours. If your cat is an indoor cat then please let me know as I have an indoor cat myself so I know the importance of making sure all doors/windows are closed!
Ratings and reviews
Emma looked after our rescue dog Terry, staying in our home for a week and we can’t thank her enough. From start to finish, Emma kept us informed with messages and pictures. She visited twice beforehand to get to know Terry and learn about his ways. She gave him his medication and was calm and resourceful when he showed some reactivity caused by his background. Emma was professional throughout, and we knew our dog was in excellent hands. I can wholeheartedly recommend Emma, who we will be asking to dog sit again and again.
We have been looking for an alternative for kennels as our dog is getting a bit of a cantankerous old lady these days. We were a little anxious leaving her with someone new, but Emma put us straight at ease. She was incredibly straightforward, she popped round for a introduction and met Harry who loved her. We had lots of updates which helped us relax on our trip away, and it sounds like Harry had a great time and got plenty of fuss. We will definitely be using her again and would recommend to anyone else!
Once again Emma has been a total star (and an absolute life-saver!). We got stuck in Calais for hours, far longer than the agreed booking, which ordinarily would have meant Max being on his own far too long. Emma stayed extra hours for us, kept in touch the whole time, while we tried to sort the nightmare situation and get home. Was such a relief to know he was taken care of - one less stress! Thank you (as always!).
As always Max had a wonderful afternoon with Emma (even pricks his ears up when we mention her!). They have such a great relationship and given Max's nervous nature Emma manages him so well and so calmly.
This is the 3rd time we have used Emma. She is reliable and great at communicating through the day. Shadow is unwilling to go outside when I’m not around and Emma has been very understanding with him.
We're so grateful we found Emma, she's honestly a godsend. Our dog isn't the easiest as he's very nervous so we're careful about who looks after him, and our home, which has meant we're a bit limited in what we can do and where we can go. Emma made so much effort to get to know Max before she looked after him with drop-in visits and walks - he absolutely loves her! We'll definitely maintain the relationship with Emma and feel 100% comfortable asking her to house sit in the future.

Schedule
As previously mentioned, I work for myself. As long as there is WiFi/signal I can work from anywhere and be flexible to suit your animals needs. I can do weekdays, evenings and weekends, if I’m available then I’ll be more than happy to discuss pet care and usually need 1 week in advance for over night care.
