I’m new to LA and would love an excuse to walk around and see the city, also, I’m currently working part time, remote from home. Please give me an excuse to get out of the house!

Safety, trust & environment
I will be careful to avoid busy streets when walking, and would never let your animals out without a leash, of course. Safety and enrichment are my top priorities at all times. Please do not hesitate to teach me the commands you prefer to use with your pups so that they trust me as much as they can while I’m taking care of them.
Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your animal is on any medication or if their health is abnormal (I will update you on any concerns in stool content or energy level). I also appreciate learning what commands you use, where you keep extra supplies and what the animal’s boundaries are (can they go to the dog park? Should we avoid being around other people/animals? How long can they walk for at once, and how many times a day for house visits?).
A typical day
I begin each visit by checking in with the animal I’m visiting. Do they need water, did they make a mess in the home, etc. Once I’m comfortable they’re fine and the home is not a mess, I take them out for a walk right away. The length of the walk varies depending on the age and energy of the dog. My goal is to make every visit physically, emotionally and mentally stimulating for them. If an owner is comfortable sometimes this means long walks outside of their neighborhood - even a hike! I also love taking dogs to the dog park, pending the owner’s preferences. I finish every visit with affection and pets - let me know where your household pet brush is and I’ll give them some grooming before I leave!

Pet care experience
Daughter to a veterinarian and farmer, I’ve spent my whole life around animals - everything from a guinea pig to rats, hamsters, standard sized golden doodles, boxers and farm cats. I have been an active care taker of animals my whole life. I first litter boxed trained a cat at 12, have taken care of animals for friends, family and neighbors my whole life. Now, as an adult I have two animals of my own. I had a 16 year old blind and arthritic puppy, Ella, as well as a cat with dietary restrictions, so your animals specific needs are ones I am happy to learn about and adapt to. I have experience clipping toe nails, administering medication and occasionally giving hair cuts. I’ve successfully potty trained two different dogs and multiple cats and would love to meet your animals!
Reviews
Emma and her sister are incredible! They’re so good with my little man, and so sweet to him! I’ve never used a pet sitting service before, and they make me feel relaxed about being away. Emma, thank you so so much for loving him! I know he loves you too!! 🖤🖤🖤
Emma is a pet’s best friend!! She has cared for our dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. She is caring and kind, reliable and communicates well. Emma is also attentive to the pet’s health which was a relief for us. I cannot say enough positive things about her and the care she provides.

Thank you again Emma! This time it’s a big thanks for feeding our cats and giving them their meds so we could enjoy our big day! You’re our go-to cat sitter now :) We appreciate your patients and care with our sweet elderly cats!!

Emma was able to cat sit overnight for us over Christmas and she did a wonderful job with our kitties! One of my cats is much more high maintenance than the other and Emma was able to give him his pills, make sure he finished his food, and the house was just as we left it! We are so grateful to have found an experienced sitter with the care and patience that our old cats need. Thanks again Emma! We hope your stay at our place was cozy :)
