We both have flexible schedules and spend a lot of time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and park trips fit naturally into our routine. We love starting mornings with a walk through Prospect Park and winding down in the evening with an easy stroll through the neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust always come first. We stick to each dog’s routine and your instructions so they feel comfortable and cared for. We take time to build trust, especially with shy or nervous dogs, and let them settle in at their own pace. On walks, we stay attentive, keeping dogs close at crossings, giving them space to explore, and watching body language to keep things safe around other dogs, kids, or busy paths. At home, dogs get plenty of attention and are never left unsupervised. We treat every dog with patience and respect so they feel right at home.

Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet
It’s super helpful to know your dog’s routine, what they like, and anything that makes them nervous. Feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any special needs all help us make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
A typical day
We like to keep things fun and tailored to each dog. That might mean playing fetch in Prospect Park, going for a good run, exploring new walking routes, or letting them take their time sniffing every corner. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, we are just as happy to lie out in the sun, give belly rubs, or curl up for a nap at home.

Pet care experience
Hi, we’re Emma & Wes. We’ve both loved and cared for dogs our whole lives and enjoy making new dog friends. We live in a spacious two-bedroom on the ground floor in a great neighborhood for walking, just five minutes from Prospect Park. Between the two of us, we have lots of experience, from volunteering at animal shelters to being the friends-and-family go-to sitters. We’ve worked with shy and reactive dogs, high energy dogs, and everything in between. We both have flexible schedules and the option to work from home, so there is always someone around to give attention, play, or just keep your dog company. At home we keep things calm and safe, with space for dogs to feel comfortable and part of the family.
Reviews

Freddy loved his stay with Emma and Wes! From the meet and greet to drop off, they were so friendly and very responsive. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos! Will definitely reach out again for future stays!

Emma and Wes made the long weekend absolutely amazing for Rivers. Emma kept the photos coming all weekend, which showed there was lots of park time and lots of fetch. Rivers had such a great time that when Wes said goodbye and walked away, Rivers ran after him! To top it all off, they picked up and dropped off Rivers, which was a huge, huge help. I’m so grateful to have met them, and I’m already planning our next booking.
I’ve known Emma and Wes for over a decade, and they’ve been like godparents to my both my current dog, Edgar (Toy Manchester) and my late dog Meerza (whippet). They’ve cared for them during my travels, sometimes for weeks, with more discipline than I ever managed: hikes, exercise, teeth brushing and nail trims like clockwork. Both dogs have been sensitive, slightly neurotic handfuls (I clearly have a type), yet they absolutely adored Emma, Wes, and their daughter Leona. Few people inspire that level of trust; Emma is one of them
