Availability does change month to month especially with more regular clients who snag up dates quicker so best to plan out a stay a week or two in advance. However I definitely accept same day/week bookings as well! Just depends on the week/my calendar so feel free to always ask! If you’re seeking more regular care that is always welcomed! I’d prefer to ultimately have more regular clients with longer stays but open to all

Caring for your pets in my home isn’t an option at the moment but I am fully capable and happy to care for your pets in your home. It’s important clients know that in my care pets will be sure to get plenty of water, be fed, have plenty of walks, potty breaks, baths, as well as given cuddles medication or any other specific needs, they are going to be met. The house will be well secured whether we are away on a walk or it’s an overnight stay. Respect of others space is important to me & only designated areas & items will be used. I have experience Housesitting with and without animals so if special requests such as watering plants, taking out garbage, or special pet/house care-anything, I’m open to that so don’t hesitate to ask.

Let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs or behaviors I can account for. I do prefer non aggressive dogs, mainly towards people. I have a lot of experience growing up with dog specific aggressive dogs both my own corgis and other peoples dogs (kind of silly actually the corgis I had only really liked other corgis). But I know how to prep & respond accordingly on walks with reactive dogs.
A typical day
Depending on the dog & the sitters requests & comfortability, I love taking dogs to nearby dog parks. I like to bring my own bags and water & supplies for walking when I can. I love playing tug o war or playing catch at a park if that’s something a dog enjoys.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10. I grew up with many dogs, cats, even chickens. I grew up with four different corgis as well as a yellow lab & various cats. I’ve pet sit for numerous friends, families, colleagues, and neighbors throughout my entire life. I’ve dog walked at the Oregon Humane society as a teenager mostly walking pit bulls which have a special place in my heart. Ive pet sit all kinds of cats & I’ve worked with almost all kinds of dogs, as little as a chihuahua and big as a Saint Bernard. Animals are 100% innocent & they need to be protected, loved, & guided. It means so much to me to be able to do that. So many Animals feel joy so easily & naturally & they bring me joy in the same way. Animals are really a huge importance to me & are creatures who truly love unconditionally. I believe animals have an inner life we can’t comprehend from our own human viewpoints & understanding of consciousness. But In my experience at least, they have souls, big emotions, big hearts, and can be deeply in tune with humans and others energy and needs. They communicate with us in various ways all the time. They communicate they’re listening, need you, love you, or express joy or any emotion, or even communicate on behalf of other humans or animals. Some animals will be service to humans or rescue us even as a complete stranger. We’re all creatures & I see us as equals because we all exist in this world together-separately but together. As a former teacher, one of the most significant things I learned is how important play and physical activity is to well being-it helps us physically & thus mentally & emotionally, this applies to both animals during play time & walk time-as well as animal caregivers! Playing & walking are super rewarding & beneficial to my overall health & it’s a never ending circle because I get super happy seeing dogs joyful while out in nature & on their walks. I’m helping them be happy & healthy & they’re helping me be happy & healthy! Cuddles & physical touch varies depending on animals needs but overall pets love & benefit greatly from physical affection & humans do too
