I work from home and have flexible working hours, meaning I can easily attend to your pet's needs around my working day. I am happy to offer a daycare service, where your dog is welcome to join me throughout the day. I am an active individual, often prioritising going out for a walk or run at lunchtime, so your dog is guaranteed to get some play time and exercise too.

When caring for pets in my home or a pet owner’s home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions provided, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special care requirements. My house is safe and dog-friendly, with a fenced outside area to the rear of the house, providing a secure space throughout the day for regular toilet trips and leg stretches. I spend plenty of time playing, walking, and engaging with pets to keep them happy and active. I also pay close attention to their behaviour to ensure they are happy and relaxed while their owners are away. A calm environment and lots of love are always part of my care approach.

Some fun activities I enjoy doing with the pets I care for include: 🐾 Playtime with toys – tug-of-war, fetch, and interactive toys that keep them engaged. 🕵️♀️ Hide and seek with treats – a great way to stimulate their natural curiosity and sense of smell. 🚶♂️ Walks and outdoor adventures – whether it's a relaxed stroll or a brisk walk, it’s always a great time to explore and bond. 🏃♀️ Runs and active play – for high-energy pets who love to burn off energy and have a blast. 🧠 Basic training games – like sit, stay, or recall games, which are both fun and rewarding. Every pet is different, so I always tailor the activities to match their energy level, personality, and preferences!

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember, and caring for these furry friends has always been a big part of my life. Throughout my childhood, I spent countless hours walking and looking after multiple dogs, including those of family and friends. I regularly care for my mother’s dog when she’s away on holiday, and I’m very comfortable with high-energy breeds like Weimaraners and Border Collies. I’ve also helped with puppy training and have experience supporting senior dogs, like our family dog Freya, as she aged and developed mobility challenges.

Emma was fantastic with Rosie, our Goldendoodle. She looked after her at short notice and took great care of her. Rosie came home exhausted after a full day of attention and plenty of exercise. Thank you, Emma!

We are so happy that we found Emma. Arthur had stayed with her several times now and we can always be sure he is well looked after. Emma is very reliable: she always sends us photos, and when she had to modify the booking, she had already arranged for a friend to cover the days she couldn't do.
