Information Emma B. would like to know about your pet

I offer meet and greets before the initial walk or sitting. Meet and greets are relaxed and give you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have, to tell me any special requirements or behavioural traits your canine buddy may have, and most importantly gives your dog the chance to meet me ahead of our walks.

A typical day

I am fully insured and hold certificate’s in dog first aid and canine body language. All walks will take place in safe locations away from roads and traffic. We walk in natural environments, such as woodlands, heathlands and the like, to ensure your dog gets a good amount of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.

Pet care experience

Are you looking for a sitter with a good understanding of pet behavior? I’m Emma, an experienced pet sitter specialising in "pop-in" home visits and dog walking. I have had my own cats and dogs for the past 20 years, and have been working in animal care professionally for the past 5 years, so I understand that every pet has a unique routine and temperament, and I’m here to ensure that routine isn’t disrupted while you’re away. I have extensive experience with both cats and dogs, and provide reliable, loving pop-in visits for your cats and dogs so they can stay happy and comfortable in their own home. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind. With 5 years experience professionally caring for both energetic dogs and independent (or shy!) cats, my goal is to provide total peace of mind. Whether it’s vigorous playtime, fresh water and feedings, or just some quality lap time, I treat every pet as if they were my own.

I've known Emma B for a few years. She is a very loving, calm, compassionate pet owner with her 2 beautiful dogs and 4 delightfully crazy cats. I have never heard her raise her voice at her pets but she somehow manages to make them listen to her. I put this down to her calm manner and that they feel safe with her. Emma has looked after my little Ella Cat on a number of occasions and although she is skittish with most people, she is fine with Emma. She understands both dogs and cats, their likes and dislikes, and how to manage them in most situations. She doesn't flap and is an extremely responsible individual. I would not hesitate to entrust my animals into Emma's care. A fine person!

Emma has looked after my dog Layla on many occasions and has always been amazing. She’s unbelievably caring, and I trust her implicitly. Layla is really picky about who she likes but she absolutely loves Emma, and importantly I’m never nervous about leaving with Emma looking after her as I just know she’ll do exactly what Layla needs. I couldn’t really recommend her highly enough as a pet sitter!
