I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am very comfortable caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I currently have a 6-year-old rescue dog who I helped train, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and attentive care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety and well-being. I lead a very active lifestyle and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s walking, running, or hiking. As a former cross country and track athlete at UGA and a two-time marathoner, I’m reliable, energetic, and more than happy to keep up with dogs who need longer or more active outings. I’m currently a third-year law student at UGA, and I take pride in being dependable, organized, and communicative. In my free time, I enjoy staying active, exploring Athens, and spending time with friends and family. I would love the opportunity to care for your dog and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they deserve! Hope to meet your four-legged friend(s) soon.

I am diligent and responsible and your dog will have my full and undivided attention when I am with him or her. I also adapt my care to the individual needs and schedule of each pet, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared for. Additionally, I strictly follow all instructions given and aim to keep pets on their regular schedule. When walking or visiting, I also take great care to ensure pets’ safety through secure leashing, awareness of surroundings, and adjusting activity levels based on the dog’s age, energy level, and personality. For more energetic dogs, I am more than happy to include longer walks or runs, while for older or less energetic dogs, I focus on gentle exercise and companionship. When in a client’s home, I also ensure the home is clean and peaceful, as well as treating it with respect. I am also very communicative, and happy to send updates and pictures as frequently as the owner would like.

Emma Rose did a great job taking care of my little Lady!!! She got lady to eat out of the bowl and even lick it clean— I can never get her to do this! Emma Rose was a huge help on my busy day!
Emma Rose is amazing with my mini dachshund, Lady! She is great at caring for Lady’s unique needs with her long back. She is also great at getting Lady to eat (whereas I often have to hand feed her)! Lady loves Emma Rose and is always so excited to see her— her tail wags so fast!
Emma is a wonderful pet sitter! I have used her dozens of times, and she always makes sure my sweet boy is happy and taken care of. My dog has a TON of energy, but she manages to tire him out and has even taken him running with her a few times. Could not recommend more.

Schedule
My class schedule allows for walks, play-dates, visits, etc. anytime on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Some weeks, I may have more availability, and I will update my schedule accordingly.
