Information Emma A. would like to know about your pet
I have plenty of experience with dogs with severe separation anxiety and learn a lot from walking dogs that are up for adoption at the local shelter. I must know how your pet behaves on: walks, how they interact with other pets, reactions to bathing, likes/dislikes generally/playing, their sleeping/eating habits etc. I like to know the ins and outs of your pet, to ensure they feel right at home
A typical day
Depending on the ability of the dog, I love long walks- whether it be on the beach, along a river or on a hike! If your pet is unable to do that, or doesn’t feel safe in a public setting, I have a very large fenced garden where we can create a safe space for the pet to play!

Your pet’s best friend- tailored loving care
Pet care experience
I have been raised with and looked after dogs my whole life (guide/elderly/suffering severe separation anxiety/difficult). For most of my life, I lived with two dogs of opposing personalities and breed until they both passed away. One guide dog, which I helped care for my mother (helping bathe the dog, walk when my mum couldn’t). And also a toy poodle (which was more like a temperamental cat), that suffered with severe separation anxiety and difficult eating habits. I also in my spare time like to walk the dogs at my local shelter and help out whenever I can, and gain experience with multiple different breeds. On occasions, I dogsit a family friend’s jack russell, who comes with a list of issues but never has to worry when he’s with me. I also look after my parents’ two toy poodle puppies often! I also have experience with living with a 20 pound cat that my flatmate at the time adopted from a shelter. He was often away for months at a time so I became a primary carer for him.
Reviews

Emma did a great job looking after matzo, our cat. Excellent communication - Emma is a considerate, conscientious sitter and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for good care for their pets! Thank you again.

This was Toby's second visit to Emma, but first overnight stay. Emma was so patient with Toby, who took a little time to settle, and didn't want to sleep in his crate (which he always does at home!). She sent us regular updates and photos, she is brilliant! Thank you again Emma!

We had great contact with Emma from the start. Lovely meet and great. Freyja looks shattered now, which we take has a lovely sign. Couldn't have asked for best first time of leaving Freyja with someone for the first time for a day 😊

Absolutely amazing! So attentive and caring of our little dog. Really appreciated her flexibility and great communication
