Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor - an easy place to let your pet out to go potty. There is a large area for potty time and an area to play/socialize with other dogs (if permitted, depending on dog’s temperament). There is a small park close by that doggies love that sniff around at and watch the birds and squirrels.

Information Emma A. would like to know about your pet
• please let me know if your dog has any special needs or food allergies/foods they do not tolerate well. • if you have a routine implemented at home that works well, I hope to incorporate that into their day(s) spent with them; please share that with me (: • items to send with your pet: food/food toppers, treats, chews/bones, medications (if needed), leash & harness, crate, bed, toys/balls, comfort items, slow feeder (if needed) enrichment activities (lick mat, kong, pupsicle, etc.)
A typical day
I plan on mentally and physically stimulating dogs that I care for; training, hikes/sniff walks, enrichment activities, etc. I can also be a couch potato, so I know how to make your pet feel right at home; this is a dog on the couch household (:

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of friends & family’s pets for years, where I grew special connections with each of the animals. This past summer I fostered an 8 mon. old deaf dog - I have some training/consistency skills in my back pocket.
Reviews

Very responsive and sensitive to our pet’s needs. I felt very comfortable leaving our pet with Emma and already have her booked for next month

Emma helped us out last minute when our pet plan changed for vacation. She treated her wonderfully and gave her great care/attention. I am so glad to have found her and will definitely use her in the future.

Emma was amazing with our 1.5 year old golden retriever! She sent us pictures and videos daily, and I know our dog was in great hands when she was with her!
I have watched Emma over the last year with her foster, Jet (an 8 month old deaf, black lab). She exemplified nothing but love and care for him. Jet's well being was always her first priority. Whether that was making sure he got enough exercise by playing, walking and doggy-daycares, implementing specific training regimes the foster facility had him on, following specific medication schedules, or just giving him love through cuddles - she did it all! Her experience with Jet would make her a great candidate for taking care of larger dogs! I have also witnessed Emma interact with other dogs while dog sitting for friends and family. She has experience with all dog sizes and a variety of dog breeds. Emma's experience with and love for dogs makes her the perfect person to take care of your fur babies!
