Dog-loving couple with a Sheepadoodle sidekick
Hi dog parents :) We’re a dog-loving couple with experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. We raised and trained our own dog, Fitz, from puppyhood — a 5-year-old sheepadoodle who’s friendly, gentle, and social with other dogs. 🐾 Through our experience, we’ve learned to understand dogs’ body language, energy levels, and individual needs. We’re comfortable with both active dogs who love playtime and more relaxed dogs who enjoy calm companionship.🐶 Our home is full of patience, structure, and affection — we treat every dog as if they were our own. We’re also experienced with positive reinforcement, maintaining routines, and creating a calm and safe environment for dogs adjusting to new surroundings.🏡

Emirhan was amazing with Marlo— he looked after Marlo with so much care and attention. Throughout the day, he kept us updated with lovely photos of Marlo with his new friend Fitz. It was such a positive experience, especially because Marlo had the chance to socialize and spend time with another dog, which he really enjoyed. He came back home happy, calm, and clearly very well looked after. We’re super happy with the care Emirhan provided!

Schedule
Both of us work from home most of the week, which makes our schedule flexible and well-suited for dog care. Fitz is part of our daily routine, so walks, feeding, and playtime are naturally built into our day. We go out for walks 2–3 times a day — morning, midday, and evening — and always make time for attention, cuddles, or mental stimulation in between. Whether it’s a short potty break or a longer walk around Amager Fælled, we have plenty of flexibility to ensure every dog gets the care, exercise, and companionship they need throughout the day.

Our home is dog-friendly and cozy, where where your dog will have access to comfortable resting areas throughout the day. Since Fitz is very social, we make sure interactions are positive and respectful. We’re mindful of each dog’s personality and energy level — ensuring calm introductions, safe play, and peaceful relaxation time. We also maintain routines similar to what dogs are used to at home, which helps them feel secure and settle in easily. We never leave dogs unsupervised for long periods and always ensure outdoor time happens in safe environments, either on-leash or in enclosed areas.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a nice and early morning walk around the neighborhood — about 30 minutes. During the day, there’s plenty of rest time at home in a calm and cozy environment, with a shorter midday potty break if needed. In the evening, we head out again after dinner for another walk around the area. A few times a week, depending on each dog’s energy level and needs, we take longer adventure walks to nearby green areas like Amager Fælled, Sydhavnstippen Naturpleje, or Valbyparken. Whether your dog enjoys exploring nature, prefers relaxed strolls or indoors enrichment, we adapt our routine to make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
