While my schedule is flexible, it is not consistent day to day with meetings. I generally work my full-time job from 8am-5pm. I only board one dog at a time (unless they're from the same household) as I want to give each one the personalized attention they deserve. I have flexibility throughout my day to take walks and spend time with your cat/dog. I have strong routines already built after 12 years with my own dog that I am eager to keep up. I love to spend time outdoors and swims/dog parks/hikes are all possible if your pet is comfortable so please let me know!

Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your pet like my own. I want them to feel safe and loved. They will sleep in my room at night unless they feel more comfortable in a crate. I will do my best to accommodate what special needs your pet has to feel at home. I generally only accept one pet at a time unless they come from the same home.

Information Emily Y. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what makes your fur baby special. Do they want space? Are they picky eaters? Do they have a special diet? Are long walks too stimulating or tiring? Do they get along with other dogs on walks? Do they get defensive around new people or dogs? I want to be prepared to take care of your pet like you would.
A typical day
My top priority is balance. I love a dog who wants to snuggle and get attention. I have plenty to give. I have parks, quiet neighborhoods, and lake union nearby for fun activity time and walks. I have an old beat up 4Runner that is great for hauling messy dogs around town, to the mountains on weekends, or one of the many dog parks around. Please let me know what your dog is comfortable with or what you prefer to avoid.

Pet care experience
**Discount on Spaniel breeds - only $25/day boarding!** I've been mom to cats and dogs all my life. When I moved to Seattle 14 years ago, it only took a few weeks to get a puppy of my own. My Springer Spaniel Bentley was my best friend until he passed from an autoimmune disease. I'm grateful to have worked from home with him by my side: snuggling on the couch with my laptop, taking long walks to break up the day, swims in lake union when it got hot outside, and all my love. Without my good boy at my side, I'm looking to give my attention and care to your dog or cat. Are they a couch potato? Great, I have a dog bed next to my desk. Are they high energy? No problem, I prioritize 15-30min walks several times throughout the day. Do they get hot in the summer heat? I have an a/c to keep us cool. As a (former) pet parent, I'm looking to keep up my routines and have the knowledge to address your dogs/cats needs at any age. I will treat them like my own. <3

Emily was fantastic! Could not have asked for a better experience while we were away

Wonderful sitter for your pet! Emily was great with Moogie. Flexible with pick up & drop off. Sent daily pictures and updates. Would book again!

We 💙💙💙 Emily!

Emily was great with Jack. It was his first Rover and everything was smooth and easy. She sent plenty of photos and kept us updated on how he was doing. Will definitely book again!
