Animal Experience: I grew up with two cats (Nikki and Abbie) and a 100-pound weimaraner dog (Sherman). Nikki lived to 20, Abbie to 19, and Sherman to 14, so I went through all of the stages of life with them all. A few years later my parents fostered a labradoodle, Bruno, who had high anxiety and a bite on record. I helped train Bruno over the years. He enjoys neighborhood walks and is the sweetest pup around. In 2022 I adopted Juniper, a beautiful tabby cat. She’s quite the picky eater and has taught me patience and understanding in building a cat’s trust. Why become a Rover Sitter? I've always had cats and dogs in my life and absolutely love caring for them. I started Rover in grad school, which was a perfect fit to keep animals in my life while also getting me some much needed time away from my computer. I recently moved to Juneau, so I reactivated my account to care for new fur babies, and in the meantime, create some financial relief from the move.
