Ready to hike with your pup!
Hi! I’ve been a dog owner/lover through most of my life. I grew up with our family dog, Billie, who has since passed, but I’ve continued to enthusiastically offer to take care of friends’ pups in order to still get those precious cuddles in. I also previously worked for a dog walking/sitting company in Boston for several months before moving to SLC, so I'm experienced with handling multiple dogs at once on a walk if you have more than one pup. A couple of years ago, I spent several months full-time traveling, and utilized Trusted Housesitters. It was a great experience, and I got to care for many dogs and cats all over the US! Lastly, I like to stay active and go on lots of hikes or runs which I’d love to do with your pup(s) if you feel comfortable with it!

My care for your pet will depend upon what you request as the owner. As someone who likes to plan ahead, especially for overnight sits, I will make sure to get detailed instructions from you on how to care for your pet and hopefully meet your dog beforehand so they can be comfortable around me.

Emily did an amazing job looking after my sweet and sensitive sighthound! I was nervous to leave him with a sitter for the first time but it went so well. She is very intuitive with dogs and an excellent communicator. Will definitely want to have her again!

Emily is fantastic. She made sure all of Kodas needs were met while watching her, including taking her for hikes and trips to the dog park! It’s always reassuring knowing Koda is having fun and getting exercise when I have to travel for work. Emily was easy to communicate with and left the house very tidy. I’ll definitely be utilizing Emily’s services again.
Emily is great! She has watched my dog Dazy several times, often staying at my house with Dazy. She is communicative and respectful. The best part is she takes my dog on hikes in the foothills, which is a must for an active dog. I don't have to worry about Dazy getting enough exercise when I'm out of town. And I love it when I get a pic of Dazy on a hike while I'm traveling - it's nice to know she's taken care of and having fun when I'm out of town. Would def recommend Emily!
Emily has watched our dog, Daisy, several times. She is flexible with her schedule, is really great about taking Daisy on hikes, and is so respectful when staying in our home. She will take great care of your pet, definitely recommend booking with her!

Programa
I am working hybridly and taking classes part time, which means I will need to be away from your pet about 4-8 hrs each day. I'll be sure to fit in their exercise routines around my schedule of course!
