I grew up in a cat household, and because of that, I have a keen understanding of their needs, quirks and behaviors. I have had my current cat since he was 2 months old, and have raised him from kitten to adolescent to adult. I have a lot of restraint with new kitties, allowing them to meet me on their terms and not forcing any interactions they're not comfortable with.

Safety is my number one priority. I make sure doors and windows are secure so as not to create escape routes, and I'm constantly vigilant as to the whereabouts and condition of my cats. I will make sure that all animals are accounted for and thriving in their space from day to day.
