Availability
I am currently taking clients for drop in visits and walks. Drop in visits will be tailored to your pet's specific needs, providing potty breaks, fresh food/water, cleaning, comfort, & play. Walks provide physical and mental stimulation, companionship, basic skills and play. **For large dog requests, I ask as a courtesy that they are well mannered and are not likely to jump on me and knock me over or drag me as I am only 100lbs 🙂 thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is of utmost importance. I am committed to your pet's mental, physical health, and safety overall. I will take care as I do my own. I recognize that each animal has its own personality, some are outgoing, some are shy. I will allow them to be who they are so that they can feel safe in my presence. I will communicate with you based on your preference. I provide reports at the conclusion of each check-in, also happy to send photos if your pet is comfortable with that.
Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know about your pet and of any specific needs or concerns you have for them. I send reports and photos for each visit!
A typical day
Firstly, I will be sure immediate needs are met, for example: potty break, fresh food and water. Clean boxes, kennels or enclosures. Then it is time to provide comfort, companionship, play and/or a walk. On walks dogs are able to get some sniff breaks in, exercise of course, and I can work on basic skills with positive reinforcement.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Emily and animals have been at the heart and center of my entire life. Animals bring quality and enrichment to our lives and I like to give that back in return. I've been fortunate to have animals since I was a little girl, from pocket pets, to cats, dogs, goats, horses and even a cow! In a professional capacity, I was a veterinary technician for over 8 years, providing emergency and routine care, for both large and small animals. I have cared for cats, dogs, chickens, cows, horses, and donkeys while owners were away for about the past 10 years. The last 4 years, I have been active in kennel clubs, taking classes and learning about dog training. I am currently co-teaching obedience classes and plan to continue learning about dog behavior and training.

Reviews

Extremely dependable, excellent communicator with thorough updates with pictures/videos, & went above and beyond to care for our cat. Highly recommend!

Emily was awesome! She really did a perfect job, and we couldn't recommend her more. She was conscientious, proactive, and had great communication. And she clearly has a way with animals. We came home to a very clean living space and happy cats. Thanks so much, Emily!
