Hi! My name is Emily and I’m both a dog and cat mom. Besides my love for my own pets, my experience has primarily been in petsitting (four years experience) with one and a half years working as a vet assistant at Chester Animal Hospital. I’ve had a good amount of experience with medication administration, elderly animal care, and picking up on whatever an individual animal’s needs are. I’m a college student who has a passion for working with animals and is looking to make a little bit of money. I would be honored with the responsibility of watching your pet as if they were my own. Our pets are our family, and I can’t wait to meet yours!

Emily was "better than advertised"..meaning that she went over and above to take care of Oscar. Emily asked all the right questions and was clearly attentive to Oscar's personality and behavior. Emily also has a family dog and this is a great asset when dog-sitting other dogs. We got frequent updates whie away for the weekend and we fely entirely comfortable with Emily staying at the house. We live on a private dirt road cul-de-sac with few houses, so while it is quiet and peaceful, it can be a little intimidating come nightfall. Fortunately our two closest neighbors have dogs and they were both willing to help Emily, if necessary. Very happy to have "discovered" Emily !

I’m currently working part time and am a college student, so my schedule is flexible and I have more than enough time to play with your pet and make sure that they have the care they need.

I believe that picking up on the body language and signals that an animal gives you is key to forming a lasting connection with them, and so I try to practice lots of self awareness with all of the fur babies I pet sit!

I think physical activity is very important and love to spend a good amount of time mentally and physically stimulating our furry friends so that they can stay happy and healthy!
