I work from home three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent attention and care. On my days off, I love being outdoors and frequently walk around my South Park neighborhood, so your dog will get lots of fresh air, movement, and enrichment. I’m available throughout the day to keep your pup’s routine on track and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and fully cared for from morning to night.

A typical day
A typical day includes morning walks around my South Park neighborhood, followed by playtime, enrichment, and plenty of cuddles. Throughout the day, I take dogs on sniff walks, practice simple training games, and give them lots of mental stimulation. In the afternoon, we unwind with another walk or outdoor time, depending on your pup’s energy level. Your dog will enjoy a balanced mix of activity, attention, and relaxation to keep them happy, calm, and fulfilled.

Hi! I’m Emily, a lifelong dog lover who grew up with a husky and has since fostered dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I currently live in South Park, right between Golden Hill, North Park, and Balboa Park, making it easy for me to take your pup on enriching walks through some of San Diego’s best dog friendly neighborhoods. Because I regularly foster, I have extensive experience with: • High energy dogs, shy dogs, and everything in between • Puppies • Medical fosters: including administering oral meds, topical treatments, and basic care instructions My priority is always your dog’s comfort and happiness. Whether your pup needs structure, slow introductions, extra cuddles, or a calm environment, I take the time to understand their routine so they feel safe while you’re away. I provide updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your dog is doing. Your pup will be treated like family here. Emily is a kind-hearted soul that truly cares deeply about animals. She recently fostered a dog that was set to be put down, and not only did she provide love, care, and a temporary home, but she also took the time and effort to teach the foster dog tricks, help it with leash training, and helped with early puppy potty training. She went on long, daily walks with the foster puppy, was always caring and prioritized its needs, and really gave that little puppy the confidence and opportunity to take steps towards a better life. Beyond this instance, she is also extremely trustworthy, is consistently on time, is quick to respond to texts/calls, and is overall a person that I would trust my dog around.
