I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager but fell in love with pet care and training when I got my mini golden doodle Hazel. I love dogs of all types and would love to care for yours! Depending on your dog’s needs, I’d love to take them for a walk around the city or a play session at the park!

Emily was very communicative and attentive to noodle. She sent me many updates with photos included. She took her on multiple walks during the hours she was sitting and she made noodle feel right at home. Noodle got along well with Emily‘s dog and I felt reassured that she was having a great time while I was away. I would absolutely book with Emily again in the future if I’m ever in New York City.
Emily took great care of our cat and proactively offered help when hot weather were anticipated in New York. Would definitely book her again next time!
Emily was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I left, I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such caring and capable hands. She kept me updated, was attentive to every detail, and clearly treated my dog like her own. I came home to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for pup—which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely be using her again.

Emily was great with my cat (also named Hazel!) very communicative and responsive. Very thankful she was able to show up after a snowstorm and in the cold. Highly recommend Emily as a pet sitter!
Emily was incredibly thoughtful and caring of our 11-year-old dog. She communicated easily and often and sent pictures throughout. She asked good questions and it was clear that our little buddy was well taken care of. I would certainly hire her again.

Schedule
I work from an office 4 days a week, but I’m reliably home at 6pm for evening care. I’m also flexible Friday through Sunday for walks, daycare, or boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m experienced in caring for many dogs with breed-specific needs, including personal hygiene care for poodle mixes and anti-IVDD habits for dachshunds. Please let me know if you have any house rules or special requests I should know about. I’m prepared to wipe paws after each walk to keep out the NYC germs, and I can supply my own wipes by request. Although I take many precautions to keep your pet safe, I also carry my own coverage with Pet Care Insurance. That means you’re extra protected if any unexpected issues arise!

A typical day
I’m a big fan of all of the parks and community spaces around New York City! If you have an older / slower dog, I’m happy to go for a chill walk and find a spot to people-watch. Or for more energetic dogs, I can tire them out at off-leash hours (if that’s their scene) or take them for a run if not!
