Availability
On weekends we will have a flexible schedule of walks, dog park, and hanging out! During the week I aim for potty breaks at breakfast and lunchtime with a long walk after work and potty break before bed.

About Emily W.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I will adapt to the owner’s instructions around food, crate (if needed), potty breaks, and play time. I generally don’t like to leave pets alone except for short stints because they’re in a new environment and it can be unsettling.
Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any quirks or needs extra care, just let me know. I have cared for dogs after surgery and can take extra care in situations like that!
A typical day
Depending on how active the dog is, I love to spend time exploring the neighborhood on a walk or going to the dog park. I will often meet up with other friends who have dogs so the pups can play, and they can get good exercise and mental stimulation for the day.

Pet care experience
Book me for long weekends away this summer! Note: I have a 1-year old chocolate lab (super friendly, mix of calm and energetic) Experience - I have had dogs all my life, mostly big dogs but I love little dogs too! I grew up with one Golden and have had two Great Pyrenees and a Chocolate Lab since then (Charlie, Snow, Moose, and Braden). Location - my apartment is in Charlestown right near Warren Tavern. It’s a clean, spacious two-bedroom. I usually like to bring my dogs to Paul Revere Park if they need play time with other dogs, or we go on long walks around the neighborhood. I am currently working from home on a flexible schedule so I will be able to give him or her lots of attention and exercise. Young puppies - I will generally only dog-sit <6mo puppies if they are crate trained (for their sake since they will be more comfortable in a new place) and in the process of potty training.
