I lost my childhood dog last fall and I'm ready to have pets back in my life, but I'm not ready to have one of my own. I work remotely and have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. My little man lived to be 16 years old, so I'm comfortable giving medications to senior animals and have no problem being as energetic or relaxed as your furry friend needs.

I've spent my whole life around animals and I'm easily adaptable. If your pet needs to be by my side all day, I can do that. If your dog wants to take a (slow) run, I can do that. I know that leaving your pet with a stranger can be scary, but I had so many great sitters from Rover when my dog was still around, that I want to provide a safe and happy stay for your pets when you need someone to look after them.

Emily is extremely responsible and kept us updated throughout our trip. She house-sat and watched our dogs for a week and we never had any concerns. House was in perfect shape when we returned. Kept us updated and sent photos throughout the week. Would definitely recommend!
Emily may love dogs more than people. And she loves people. I’ve known Emily for over 15 years and she’s always had a dog of her own. Schedule
I’m currently unemployed and visiting friends and family in New Mexico for the next several weeks. I graduated from UNM in 2019, I’ve cared for dozens of animals between family pets and the experience I have using Trusted House Sitters and I’m setting up this profile to provide care for local folks who are looking for someone trust worthy to watch their furry (or furless) friends :) If I’m needed for house sitting or walks, I’m confident I can build your needs into my very flexible schedule between now and when I leave town.

- I have the most experience with small dogs, but love dogs of all sizes. If your dog has special care requirements, I'm happy to provide those. I don't want anyone to say no to a trip because their furry friend is too hard to accommodate, I'm happy to make that happen for you! Please let me know if they have any sensitivities to things like loud noises, aversions to small children/other pets, or any physical accommodations they may need. I’m happy to lift older dogs into couches (as long as that’s permitted) or to keep an eye out for any recent injuries as they heal. I’m very communicative and will check in if I notice anything out of the norm with your pet, just let me know how I can meet your needs!
