Pet-sitting is a relaxing activity for me where I can be one-on-one with an animal and devote all my focus to them. I am flexible with timing and can honor a strict schedule if needed.

I am very passionate about animals and making sure they are treated with the respect and care they deserve, to the point where I wrote about it as a thesis project. I always ensure that pets' daily needs are met and that they seem happy at the end of my visit. I make sure pets are inside when I leave and that everything is locked up. I use Rover for my own pets, so I try to be the sitter that I would want to work with!

A typical day
Dogs I care for usually enjoy a walk around the neighborhood and/or time spent in the yard with a favorite toy. If you have a playful cat I will happily play with their toys. Both cats and dogs will receive plenty of pats and treats (if allowed!) under my watch :)

Pet care experience
I have both a cat and dog of my own, so I understand the need to provide them with the best care possible. During a walk/visit, I am able to fill water and food, clean litter boxes/other pet-related items, and play with your pet. I have experience training puppies, so if your dog is on a special training plan, I am able to use it in my care. I'm also happy to water any plants and bring in the mail and packages. Being trusted with your pets is such a privilege for me and I greatly enjoy spending time with them - I hope they do too!

Our first time with Rover. Emily was wonderful. Sending notification when she arrived at the house, provided the map and additional info. She always left loving notes about Maggie. We would definitely use Rover again and request Emily.
Emily did a great job taking care of our cat while we were in Italy. She sent frequent photos and spent a good amount of time with him. So happy with our choice!
Emily did amazing with our two cats while we were on vacation. She was very responsive and I can tell that my cats were happy and comfortable with her!
Luca seemed fine when we returned home in the afternoon. The photos of Luca and comments were welcome. Emily and Luca got along well. However, it appeared that Luca wasn't let out of the house in the morning until 11 AM. Which meant that he was locked in the house for over 17 hours. I thought the morning visit would be around 8:30 AM. I also noticed that water hadn't been added to his food and Luca hadn't touched his breakfast when we arrived back home around 3:30.
