I’ve lived with and cared for cats my entire life, so understanding their routines, moods, and quirks comes naturally to me. My partner, Alex, and I are comfortable caring for a wide range of breeds and coat types—from long-haired cats (we own a Maine Coon) to domestic shorthairs—and we tailor our care to each cat’s individual needs. We have two rescue cats, which means we’re especially patient and experienced with timid, shy, or untrusting cats who need extra time and gentle handling. One of our own cats has diabetes and hyperthyroidism, so we’re very experienced with administering medications, including injections, and managing prescription diets with care and consistency. Over the years, we’ve also been trusted to care for numerous cats belonging to friends and family, and we treat every cat we look after as if they were our own. 🐾

Emily looked after our cat Peaches for us at short notice and was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, making it easy to plan everything. She’s clearly very experienced in caring for cats with extra needs and was completely confident administering Peaches’ daily medication. We really appreciated the lovely photo updates and she even spent time sitting outside with Peaches and went the extra mile for her to be happy while we were away. Our cat was clearly in great hands and we will definitely book with Emily again :)
Emily was a fantastic cat sitter who we’d happily recommend. She took brilliant care of our two cats, including confidently managing twice‑daily injections for one of them, and we came home to two very content cats and a tidy house. She kept us updated throughout our trip with clear messages and lots of photos, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was obvious she took great care with their routines and medication, and treated our home respectfully too, so everything felt calm and well looked after when we walked back through the door.

Alex and I both work from home with flexible hours so we’re available throughout the day for walks/drop in’s on weekdays and weekends and can provide uninterrupted company for pets with separation anxiety if staying at our house.

We provide loving, reliable care for both dogs and cats. While getting the basics right is important, we aim to meet more than just rudimentary needs by taking the time to engage and bond with your pet. We understand that meeting new people can be overwhelming for cats and dogs alike so we take a gentle approach and meet pets where they’re at to build up a trusting relationship. When out on walks, we remain attentive to your dogs body language to make sure their experience is positive and stress free!
A typical day
A typical day in our care is focused on making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while sticking closely to their usual routine. For dogs, we provide walks that are fully tailored to their individual needs, energy levels, and stamina—whether they enjoy a slow, sniff-filled walk or a longer, more active outing. We always prioritise safety and positive experiences during every walk. During drop-in visits, we will make sure all basic needs are met, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and following any special instructions or schedules you provide. For cats, this includes litter box care, feeding, and gentle interaction at their comfort level. We also spend plenty of quality time with every pet through play, enrichment, cuddles, and calm companionship, so they feel loved, relaxed, and secure while you’re away. Our goal is to treat your pets like our own and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, attentive hands.

- Please advise on your pets temperament, if they are reactive to other dogs/require muzzling, their training/if they have recall, and any behavioural issues/anxiety. We would also love to know if they have any favourite toys, food, favourite areas to be pet etc so we can make sure they feel as safe and cared for as possible!
