I have lots of experience watching pets in home, checking in, and taking pets out for walks. I love to go for long structured walks or take them for some playtime at a park! I also enjoy just stopping by and providing some love and playtime at home. For house sitting, I do have a fee of $20 additional for staying overnight. Let me know how I can cater to you!
Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any health concerns such as allergies or medicines as well as behavioral issues to take into account. Let me know what training and cue words (off or down, quiet or hush, etc) you use for your pet. Additionally, please let me know how your pet does around people and other dogs in case we encounter other animals on our walks or go to the dog park. Let me know where you prefer I take your pet on a walk and what they like to do!
A typical day
I love providing mental enrichment for your animals! Our time together will most likely be spent playing, going on walks, and a lot of love. I enjoy helping dogs come out of their shells and to hone their natural instincts with different kinds of stimulation. I enjoy taking dogs to the dog park or on a serene walk on a trail. Let me know where your dog does best! I am very interested in animal behavior so on our walks I usually incorporate some training and work on walking manners.

7 years of professional experience!
Pet care experience
I’ve had pets since I was born! I grew up taking care of cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, and dogs. For three years, I worked taking care of 50-75 horses at a natural horsemanship farm, alongside taking clinics at the local vet office. I have worked at a local veterinary hospital for over 3 years and work as a veterinary assistant. My job entails taking medical histories, performing blood draws, vaccinations, injections, and fluids, taking radiographs, restraining and handling animals, and caring for animals post-anesthesia, and more! The clinic I work at is AAHA certified and fear free certified. I am experienced with animal care in many facets, including dealing with sick, hurt, and disabled animals. I also have a background in animal training. I have spent years training and working with behaviorally challenged horses and have trained my own animals, including a deaf rabbit who was previously terrified of people and a dog with separation anxiety. Additionally, I have a degree in biology (ecology and organismal biology) and will be going to vet school to continue studying veterinary medicine and pursue my DVM. I’m an animal lover through and through and I’d love nothing more than to spend time with your fur babies!

Thank you so much for loving my sweet girl as your own!! I greatly appreciated the pictures and updates throughout the weekend, and how sweet you were with her. I appreciate you!

As another rover worker, I understand what it means to having to work around multiple schedules and she did awesome with that. And the dogs seemed to do pretty good with her for only meeting her once. I would definitely book through her again.

Emily did great with our two dogs, one who is very anxious and the other who is very high energy! She took them on walks and to the dog park, took lots of pictures, and we felt very at ease knowing she was taking care of them!
Emily was great with Marti. Very courteous and professional. She took her for a long walk. Marti looked quite happy and content when we got home. Highly recommend.
