I have found passion in being kind and loving to every dog I meet. I've noticed I'm naturally great at bonding with dogs and gently helping with training. What better way to fill my cup than by spending time with animals while helping people feel confident their pets are truly cared for? I currently have a Jack Russell–Beagle mix named JT, adopted at age six, who I’ve helped adjust to stairs, car rides, and a daily routine that includes dog park visits. Before him, I shared 10 incredible years with Stewart — my soul dog — who joined me for road trips, everyday life, and miles of running together. Stewart’s presence in my life shaped not just my love for animals, but how I love them: deeply, patiently, and fully present. Thanks to him, I learned how to safely run with dogs of all sizes, and I’m happy to offer that same high-energy care for dogs who love to move fast! And before that was Hoagie, our loyal family dog of 17 years, who sparked my lifelong love for animal companionship and helped me understand what it means to share a true emotional bond with a pet. Even earlier in life, I grew up with a dog named Ubar — my childhood companion — who was lovingly cared for by my father until I was 13. Watching him gently care for Ubar left a lasting impression and taught me what it means to show patience and respect to animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentler attention. As a teacher, I bring calm energy, structure, and clear communication to every interaction. Whether your dog needs exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I treat each pet like they’re my own. I truly understand the emotions that come with leaving your dog — because pets are family. I know they’ll miss you, and that’s why I show up as the happy, trusted visitor who brings them comfort, fun, and love in your absence.
