I have done a lot of traveling and have boarded my dogs at a kennel numerous times. It always broke my heart that they would be in a that situation without the attention they were used to getting. Now, there is a choice to do something different! I know how important it is to keep a pet sitting commitment so dog parents don't have to cancel any plans. I am reliable and often pet sit for friends and family so I thought, why not supplement my income? It's a win/win situation. Since I am retired, my schedule would work around your needs. Simply put, I am a dog person, I have loved and owned dogs for as long as I remember. There is nothing like seeing a dog's bright eyes and a wagging tail because they are happy. That always brings a smile to my face. I will snuggle, pet, scratch and talk to your dog, endlessly to get that happy reaction from them. It is preferable for me to visit and sit your pet at your home. I have 1 very outgoing dog that loves everyone and most other dogs, but I also have a rescue that was in a facility for a year. Yofi is insecure around other dogs. I don't want to stress him out because he has been making good progress with people and dogs lately. Any setback would be unfortunate. I have experience sitting with dogs of all sizes - Mastiff, Great Danes, Pit Bulls and Pit mixes, Australian Shepherds, Chow Chows, and many medium and small dogs as well. I will pamper your pooch with love and attention and do everything to keep them safe while in my care. Walks, hugs and kisses, playing with toys and quiet cuddles will all be on the schedule. Feeding schedules will be kept and fresh, cool water will always be provided. Any concerns I may have about your pet's health, etc., will be promptly communicated to you. Can't wait to send you pictures of your happy pet while you're away!
