I'm self-employed, so most of my work is from my laptop and I create my own schedule. When staying overnight with pets, I only leave the house to get food so they have constant company while their humans are gone.

When caring for your animal, I will follow the routine you have already set. I understand that some pets have separation anxiety and a new human in their environment can be confusing, so sticking to the book is important. Additionally, I will water plants and check mail as needed.

Let me know if your pet is on any medication and what time(s) they need to take them. I also like to know what commands they know and how they give signals when they need to potty, eat, want to go for a walk, etc. It's also nice to know where on their body they like to be pet and any specific collars or leashes they may need.
A typical day
Our activities together will depend on what your dog loves! Their favorite toys, games, places to snuggle, and routes for walks will fill our day(s) together.

Pet care experience
I was born into a household with both cats and dogs and that has remained the case for my entire life. Having had many elderly and sick animals, I hold senior kitties and pups very close to my heart. I have ample experience with medicine and injections for cats, as well as experience feeding and walking both cats and dogs.
