I am currently enrolled in school to become a veterinary technician. My passion for animals has lead me to become fear free certified and always go above and beyond for the animals in my care. I have grown up with large breed dogs my whole life, and recently became a dog owner with my first dog! I have worked in a doggy daycare for 2 years where I was a supervisor. I have also worked at an animal shelter caring for dogs while they are waiting for their forever home. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, temperaments and training levels. I am very passionate about working with dogs who have some behavioural issues making them “unwanted” in the shelter system. I have experience socializing, training, introducing dogs and advocating for dogs needs. I am very involved in the dog world and am always looking to get more experience with them. I provide quality care that is trustworthy and respectful to the owner and the dogs.

Safety and confidentiality are very important to me as a pet owner. I know it's hard to trust a random stranger with the care of your precious furry children. I take pride in being able to say I am a very trust worthy and responsible care taker of animals. How would I want someone to care for my animals when I'm away? That's how I will care for your animal. Allowing pet owners to have peace of mind that their pets are in excellent hands. I provide drop in services to play with your animals from the comfort of their home, outside on a long scenic nature walk or a short walk while you're at work, even a quick playtime in the backyard if that's what the love to do! I am happy to enrich pets lives when you need the extra help or are away.

Having known her for almost 5 years, I have seen firsthand how much they truly care for animals. When Emily looked after my dog (and my children's cat) she didn’t just handle the basics like feeding and walking. She made a real effort to keep my pet happy and comfortable, followed every instruction regarding routine and dispencer medication perfectly. She is reliable, punctual, and most importantly instinctively great with animals. I always feel at ease leaving my pet in her hands, knowing they will be treated like family. I would recommend Emily without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Schedule
I am a part time student in the fall and winter allowing me to have a flexible schedule during the day to tend to your pets needs. I know the importance of having a consistent schedule with your pets and strive to be able to provide that for your animals individual needs. I am flexible and able to work with you to create a daily or weekly schedule that fits your animals and your needs.
