I have extensive experience with all kinds of animals and I have been working with Dogs/Cats over a decade. Most recently I worked at a doggy daycare that housed 30 dogs for a couple years so I’m used to dogs of all ages, all temperaments, different health conditions, specials needs, behaviour issues, etc. I grew up in Newfoundland and in my teens I volunteered at an aquarium for a few summers and loved it. I’ve owned pets all my life - I always had dogs and cats but for a time I also had horses, birds, hamsters, and lizards. But currently I just have 2 sweets dogs. I’m working towards a Bachelor of Psych so I do have some education in animal behavioural psychology which gives me an understanding of different behaviours your pet may exhibit, why they may do certain things and how best to address it. I also like to keep up on the latest training and behavioural treatment research studies so I’m constantly evolving my techniques to be the most effective. So if you have any concerns or suspicions about your pups emotions or behaviours feel free to let me know when you book a service and I’ll investigate it and give you my two senses at your request. Besides clinical knowledge on animal behaviour I also have lots of hands on experience in dog training so if there are any commands you want me to work on with your pet I’m more than happy too - positive reinforcement is my style and High Five is my most popular training request. Your pet and I will become besties, they’ll always be happy to see me and they’ll truly enjoy their time with me. I genuinely love and care about all animals and I will treat your pets like their my own! Safety and comfort always come first; I always act out of the best interest of your pet. I always follow the owners lead so whether it be feeding schedule, bathroom break schedule, behavioural issues, treats, alone time etc I’ll do whatever you request. You know your pet best and I want their time with me to be as stress-free as possible. I also provide 24/7 contact so you can get an update on your pet anytime you like during your pets stay! This is great for owners who really worry when they’re away from their pet. My houses rooms are sectioned off so I’m able to separate the dogs for feeding, rest time etc. And I offer bathes complimentary as a thank you. Just ask!
