I am a veterinarian and Emily is my best technician. She is keen to both cats and dogs and how they are feeling and knows how to resolve conflict and improve comfort of her patients. She always puts the animal first. If her work experience is insufficient, she also has 2 pet cats and 2 pet dogs at home, including 1 dog that has severe arthritis and is undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma currently. She took in Dahlia, a cat surrendered to our clinic, and had her at home for a while. This is a senior cat with diabetes, requiring insulin. Emily had the ability to treat her and give her the home she needed, but also the emotional intelligence to recognize her life was not quite optimized in Emily's home, thus causing her to seek and find other accommodations. It would be difficult to imagine a better candidate than Emily.
