I work remotely and set my own schedule, so I’m home all day with plenty of time to spend with my own dogs and yours. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, so the dogs get lots of outdoor time, play breaks, and supervision throughout the day.

Every pet is different, and you know your pets best. I’m happy to follow whatever routines or preferences you have - feeding schedules, crate time, training rules, meds, anything you need. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, comfortable, and loved just like they are at home. I do slow, supervised introductions and keep a close eye during playtime to make sure everyone feels relaxed and secure.

Please let me know anything important about your dog (special needs, quirks, routines, or behaviors) so I can keep them comfortable and safe. I’m totally fine with crate routines, puppies, big dogs, and shy dogs, and I adjust the environment based on what your pet needs to feel secure. Nothing is too weird - If Barkson Boone needs to do a backflip off the ottoman before he will eat dinner, we'll make it happen.

A typical day includes plenty of outdoor time on our fenced acreage (balls and sticks galore for fetch), play sessions with my two friendly Goldens, potty breaks, enrichment toys, and lots of supervised hang-out time.

Working in a groomer’s shop taught me how to safely and confidently handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I also grew up around animals and now have 2 Golden Retrievers and a cat of my own, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have experience with basic obedience training, crate training, housetraining, and helping pups learn good habits. I’ve also cared for a variety of other animals such as cats, rats, hamsters, and birds.

Emily was absolutely amazing with our sweet boys. She was very attentive and caring. They loved having her. One of our boys is a bit stubborn and she was so patient with him, he has a hard time warming up to people but loved having her. I would highly recommend Emily to all of my family and friends and will book with her again in the future.
Emily was a godsend when my pup Maximus wasn't able to go on our trip with us this past fall. She treated my little prince like the royalty he is, and made sure to send us so many pictures, it really gave me peace of mind. She's just the sweetest. My Doberman is a stubborn old man, and she was able to win him over, no problem.
