Availability
I work remotely so I am able to offer drop in and dog walking services weekdays before 8:45 AM, during my lunch break most days, and after 4:30 PM. I also have availability most weekends. For select dogs, I may consider overnight or weekday daycare in my own home on a case-by-case basis, dependent on my own dogs getting along with yours and the behavior of your dog(s) - must be house trained and non-destructive. I would only take dog(s) from ONE client in home at a time (in addition to my own two dogs). Please reach out to discuss this further.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety and health of your pets is my number one priority. From shifting to indoor activities on days when the temperature is dangerously hot to double checking that the harness/collar is fitted properly before going outside, I do everything in my power to keep your dogs happy and healthy. Additionally, positive reinforcement is the foundation of how I train and interact with animals. I use it with my own dogs and with the service dogs I’ve helped train, and I’m happy to continue that approach with your pets. This means no yelling, “punishing”, or other harsh corrective methods will be used.

Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to hear about their likes and dislikes, routine, quirks, activity level, and temperament around people and dogs so I can be well prepared. I am more than happy to accommodate to any special needs, but I can provide the best experience by knowing all there is to know in advance!
A typical day
For walks, I'll be sure to ask what you are comfortable with and what your dog’s exercise level is. I will speed up, slow down, or make special accommodations as requested based on your individual needs. For drop ins, I ensure the dog has been taken outside to potty, given attention or playtime, fed (if instructed), and given fresh water before leaving. For daycare, your dog will be with my two dogs and two adults in my home for the entirety of the day. Since both myself and my partner work from home, they will not be left alone if you book during the work week. They will have plenty of supervised opportunities to go outside in the yard, play, and get attention. They can also be fed or given medications upon request.

Reliable & experienced dog lover
Pet care experience
I offer a premium pet sitting/walking experience because of my hands on experience in many different dog environments. I have trained service dogs through 4 Paws for Ability, worked in a busy dog daycare, volunteered in shelters, and competed in agility. These experiences help me understand behavior, manage different energy levels, and support dogs with unique needs. I am dependable, organized, and attentive to every detail of your dog’s routine. I also make communication a priority and provide frequent updates, photos, and notes so you always feel connected to your dog while you are away. If you choose to trust me with your dog, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they are in capable and caring hands.

Reviews

Emily is amazing and did such a great job with our two golden retrievers! She is so good with dogs and just a very responsible and communicative person!
Emily is ABSOLUTELY Amazing!! There’s no other sitter I trust more with my pup than Emily. Her knowledge and experience with dogs is very evident. I never worry when my pup is with her. Highly Recommend!!

Always a pleasure and communicates very well while meeting my dogs needs. Thank you!

My golden doodle was so relaxed and had no separation anxiety when I got back. He even missed her when she left as well. Emily did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and I will definitely be scheduling with her again if she is available! Vacation was worry free knowing my dog was in good hands. Very thankful for her home stay and dog sitting!
