I’m an Animal Control Officer in a near by town, have worked as a vet tech and groomer in the past, so I know how important it is to give an animal the love, care, and attention they deserve. I am an active person, so I give my three dogs lots of exercise to ensure they get a great nights sleep! I am trained on double leash, prong, halti. I am CPR trained, I know how to break up dog fights, I am gentle, and knowledgable. Just because they are pets, doesn't mean they aren't family. I am an avid foster parent for cats and dogs with local rescues as well. I have experience with puppies, kittens, diabetic/medication pets, blind and deaf dogs, elder dogs, elder cats, pregnant dogs and cats, and ferals. I have a great deal of flexibility within my job to care for animals whether it be go for a walk, drop in, over nights, etc! I also am able to care for farm animals. I grew up on a farm, and have a little farm myself!

Emily is amazing! She has been taking wonderful care of our pup for over 2 years now by getting him out to play/walk while we’re at work. He LOVES her and she’s the only one that can get his nails clipped. Emily truly does go above and beyond for us. She has also taken care of our cats while we’re away. We have a senior cat that is a bit high maintenance with needing meds and extra litter box clean up. Emily was immaculately clean beyond our expectation. She is very reliable, flexible, and a great communicator. It is awesome to have someone we can completely trust with our home and animals whether we’re at work or on vacation. We are so lucky to have Emily!
Emily was just wonderful. She had experience with large dogs and dogs like Mickie who are not dog friendly. Love people but not other dogs. She also was familiar with e-collars and prong collars, both which Mickie was trained to. It was reassuring having someone as familiar with dogs and training strategies
Emily is so wonderful! She handled my complicated situation with ease and humor - we have four cats, one of which is diabetic, another of which needs to be pilled once a day, the other two who are scared of everything and just need attention. This was our first time away with the four cats being together after a recent move in and knowing Emily’s background and just the way she was when she came to meet everyone left me very reassured that everything would be great. And i was not disappointed! She was super communicative during her visits, sending pics and updates, and confirming when I would be back to make sure there wouldn’t be a gap in care. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing animal care!!
Emily is the absolute best sitter. She goes over and beyond in her care. I would recommend her strongly. She is the absolute best caregiver.
Emily really has been a lifesaver for us when we have long days away from our big baby. She is able to handle our Newfoundland even when he is super excited at the beginning of walks and is very reliable. Can't say enough good things about her. Will definitely continue to use her in the future.
Emily took amazing care of our senior cat, chickens, and 2-month-old chicks while we were away on vacation for several days. It was wonderful having peace of mind that our animals were in great hands. Everyone was happy and healthy when we returned, thriving as though we had never been away. We are so grateful for Emily!

My job is very flexible and allows me to make my own schedule leaving me room to care for other animals and help out in anyway I can.
