I am home for the summer and usually live on campus at the University of Utah so I am unable to board pets. However while at your home I make sure to care for your pet and keep your privacy. Each animal has a different personality and so I make sure I provide care that matches that personality.

Let me know of any special treatment/ pills your dog needs. I don’t mind if they are full of energy or sleep all day! Let me know if they are aggressive or have any behavioral problems I need to worry about or if they will ruin clothes like shoes on the floor etc
A typical day
I love to go for runs so I am happy to bring your dog along. I run half marathons pretty regularly and am ran a full marathon last September so I can take them as far or as short as you would like. I don’t mind stopping for the dog to sniff whatever they want it gives me a break. I played softball in high school so getting to throw the ball with them is fun for me as well! I can run, walk, or just play! I am a Honors STEM student so I am also more than willing to just sit on the couch and do homework with them!

Pet care experience
I have always had a love for animals especially for dogs. Growing up I was the neighborhood pet sitter. Once I grew up and got a car I started doing it more seriously. I have dealt with dogs who have had seizures and need medication on the minute. I have dealt with dogs who are very stubborn taking medication and dogs who have even needed ointment in their eye. I even have job shadowed for training guide dogs for the blind. Back home I have two dogs of my own back home!

Emily has taken care of my dogs, as a retired person who travels, for the last three years. My dogs love her. She is so good with them and their everyday care. She is responsible, reliable and conscientious. From feeding and walking then to giving my little female her meds, I can always count on her.
