I am currently working 2-3 days a week and therefore have sufficient amounts of time for dog sitting and walking throughout the week when needed.

Within the owners home I would ensure I am familiar with the environment making sure it is kept safe and secure. I would learn the personality and behaviour of the pet and know their routine for walking and feeding as well as administering any medication if needed when in my care. I would also keep an eye out for any signs of illness or distress, and have the owners contact details and their vet services information to hand. Whilst out walking I would ensure that the pet is kept on a lead and be aware of the surrounding area including traffic, other pets, people and cyclists to name a few.
