Emily can care for
Availability
Pet care is extremely important to me, but some days I can work long hours at my other job as a housekeeper. If your pet cannot be alone for more than 4 hours on some days, please let me know so that I can adjust my schedule accordingly or so that we can work out a method of care. I only work a couple of days, and I work for myself, so I can work with you. My only major stipulation is that, due to personal privacy and safety concerns due to previous experiences, I am no longer accepting clients with indoor cameras. If this is a dealbreaker for you, I understand and apologize.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't typically do boarding because my dog doesn't like other dogs. I live with my parents, so my pets are taken care of when I'm away. When I'm house-sitting I like to keep things calm and quiet, although I do sing a lot! I don't bring friends or otherwise around unless permission is explicitly given.
Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet
I need to know how they usually act when you're not home, if you know. Do they have separation anxiety? Do they tend not to eat when anxious? What helps keep them calm and comfortable? Do they take medication, even temporary? Do they like to get into things/chew things? You know your pet! I trust you to communicate what's most important about your pet to me.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and I'll run around with them outside, play tug-of-war or fetch with them, whatever their favorite toys are I'm game! When we go on walks, I'm happy to let them explore and I like to give them plenty of time outside. When we're not playing I love to snuggle and pet my critters!

I love all animals, big or small!
Pet care experience
I've been taking care of pets professionally for several years. I'm most familiar with dogs, cats, and birds, but I've looked after animals such as lizards, axolotls, bunnies, chinchillas, goats, cows, and chickens!
Cat care experience

Emily also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Emily was very agreeable and accommodated any requests I texted her. My cats do better on a regular daily schedule (exact feeding times and consistency with being let out and in at specific times) and tend to let you know by leaving messes if schedule is not followed. We came home to urine stains on our bed and blanket as well as on one of the bathroom mats. The upstairs litter box needed cleaning out - quite full of cat poop. The cat food mat and dishes were not clean. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it as well. I was a bit disappointed after a very long day of travel to come home and have to wash bedding late at night when we were exhausted and clean the upstairs litter boxes and cat dishes.

My cats absolutely loved Emily!!

Emily was great! She was very communicative and helpful. Would definetly book with her again!
Emily took very good care of our pups while we were away on vacation! We had trouble getting back home with flight cancellations due to the weather, and she was able to watch them an extra night with no problems, so that was one less thing we had to worry about!
