I’m usually available around lunchtime and in the evenings Monday-Friday, and any time on weekends. I may be able to accommodate a different time during the week depending on my schedule - feel free to reach out and I’ll let you know! I’m happy to stop in and feed your pets, give them some love, play with them, and/or take them out for a walk. I can’t do long visits at this time, as I’m working on separation anxiety training with my own dog and can’t be away from home for very long.

A typical day
I’m excited to spend time doing whatever your pet loves most! Whether that’s enjoying some scratches/belly rubs/pets, playing with their favorite toy, or sniffing their favorite patch of grass in your neighborhood, I’m here for it all. If they are the type that’s less social and prefers a little space, that’s ok too!

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for both cats and dogs for many years! My family had a cat during my teenage years so I’m very familiar with cat care. I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs for many years, and have had a sweet pup of my own for 5 years.

Emily has been an incredibly kind and reliable dog walker and pet sitter for my dog for 7 years. I have a very sweet dog, but she gets quite nervous on a leash, so I am very particular about who walks her. I never have to worry about my dog when she is with Emily because she is so attentive and knows exactly how to keep my dog calm and safe. Emily's love of dogs is also so evident and she takes care of any dog she watches as if they are her own. I highly recommend Emily!!
