I’m currently home full time so I will be home all day with your dog. My dogs schedule is eating around 8-9 then again at 4:30-5:30. I walk my dog 6 times a day to go to the bathroom. I have a special water bowl that holds 2 gallons of water that lets the dog have as much water as they need. I make sure to engage my dog and any dogs I watch by doing some training exercises or playing with them. Me and my dog Ollie would love for your dog to join us in this routine!

Information Emily S. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has anything specific they need just let me know and I will gladly make sure it happens! If they have food aggression or destructive tendencies under certain circumstances just let me know. As long as there is a way to prevent it we will be all good. I used rover A LOT when I worked full time and I know what it feels like to have to leave your dog with someone all day. My dog struggles with separation anxiety and so I had to let people know what things to do to minimize that. For my dog it’s exercise and making sure he’s gone to the bathroom. So if your dog has anything that needs special care Let me know. Because my dog has separation anxiety so I don’t like to leave my dog alone at home for more than a few hours so your dog also won’t be alone for more than a few hours. If your dog isn’t potty trained I just ask that you provide pee pad's to make it easier to clean up. If you have a routine you would like me to stick to just send it in a text to I can make sure I follow it.

A typical day

I like to take them to the dog park as long as they’re dog would be able to or I’ll just take them for long walks to a park near my house. One thing I also enjoy doing is just basic dog training to get some energy out of their system. When there’s not much going on the dogs are welcome to lounge on my couch and look out the window (my dogs favorite thing to do)

Pet care experience

Me and my husband have been around dogs our whole life. Our family always considered our dogs part of the family. My first job was walking my neighbors dogs at 11 years old. I also used rover when me and my husband had to work 8-9 hr days at the same time. I know what it’s like to have to trust someone to care for your dog the way you would. I will always treat your dog the way would I treat my own. I started doing Rover so that families have a safe place to leave their dog while they go away on vacation or just for the day and know for a fact they don’t have to worry. I always send lots of videos and pictures and you will get updates the entire day everyday. You can also request a picture or update if you’re missing your pup. Thats something I always wanted when I used Rover for my dog. My dog is spoiled with lots of toys and cuddles, so your dog will also have lots of cuddles and toys. Ive always watched my neighbors dogs when they would go away for the week and have had lots of experience with all kinds of dogs! I am able to give dogs medication such as pills if needed. I have had 3 different dogs in my childhood and adult life and have been through taking care of them through all stages of their life.

Emily was WONDERFUL with Ollie!!! She sent lots of updates, pictures and videos. It was reassuring to know he was happy and being so well taken care of. Emily will be my first and only choice when I have to leave Ollie in the future.

Best dog sitter! I loved all the pictures and videos she sent! I knew my dog Max was having a good time with her and her dog. Max was completely exhausted when I brought him home which was perfect! Will definitely choose her to watch my dog again.

Emily is so amazing at taking care of my dog River! I always feel safe leaving my dog with her! She sends lots of updates with pictures which helps put my mind at ease. She took my dog to go play outside everyday and took videos of her dog and River playing outside. I will continue to leave my dog with Emily anytime I go out of town! 🩷

I cannot more highly recommend Emily! She is wonderful with dogs and treats them like part of her family. She has cared for my dog Wrigley and I never have to worry when he is with her. She is attentive to all of his needs and he gets along great with her dog Ollie.
