Pet care experience
Fear Free Vet Assistant
Hi! I’m Emily, a veterinary assistant with nearly five years of experience working in general practice and a lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t just my job—it’s what I genuinely enjoy doing every day. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and medical needs. My background includes administering oral, topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications, recognizing signs of illness, handling senior pets, and helping anxious or fearful animals feel safe using Fear Free techniques. I’m also RECOVER CPR certified, so your pet will always be in capable, attentive hands. At home, I care for a busy furry family of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. Whether your companion needs an energetic walk, a quiet cuddle session, medication while you’re away, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll care for them with the same patience and attention I’d give my own animals. I’m happy to provide photo updates throughout each visit so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. As a veterinary assistant with nearly five years of experience, I’m trained to recognize signs of illness and stress and am comfortable administering oral, topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications if needed. I’m Fear Free Certified and RECOVER CPR certified, so I strive to make every visit as low-stress as possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will always keep you updated with photos and messages.
Ratings and reviews
She was wonderful with my 2 nervous cats!! I was so worried they would be stressed when I went on vacation, but Emily dropped in two times a day and made sure they got plenty of attention, ate their food, and even scooped their litter!
Jacob is young and energetic and loves to hang out, cuddle, and play with dogs. He has a Siberian husky himself who has special dietary needs.

Schedule
I currently work part-time three days a week, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets on my days off. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, a walk, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention while sticking to their normal routine as closely as possible.

- Please tell me anything that will help me provide the best care possible! I’d love to know your pet’s routine, favorite activities, any medications or medical conditions, allergies, fears or triggers, and how they interact with new people or other animals. The more I know beforehand, the better I can make their time with me enjoyable and stress-free.
