I currently have a pretty flexible work schedule and love Charlestown & the Boston area! I would be happy to take breaks from work or spend weekends taking care of your pups/kitties - whether that be a drop in or walk. Accepting new clients! 2025-2026 Pupdate - I’ve expanded my work with Golden Opportunities For Independence out of Walpole, MA by helping train their service dogs (A British Golden, Yellow Lab and Goldador) for CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and PAT (Public Access Test) Certifications. This has been in addition to my original efforts of puppy sitting and attending & helping with fundraising events. I have loved doing it and am building some great skills. If you want to enforce any training with your puppy, feel free to let me know! 2024-2025 Pupdate - We got our first puppy (!) Her name is Sophie and she is an American golden. We love her and she is very friendly so she would enjoy walking with other dogs to keep them company or I can leave her at home too if preferred. Continue to support service dog and dog rescue orgs by volunteering with service dog puppies and attending events for both orgs. 2023-2024 Pupdate - Dog sat a mini golden and corgi several times. Joined a service dog org (Golden Opportunities For Independence - breeds, raises and trains British Goldens) and a golden rescue org (Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue) in MA. 2022-2023 Pupdate - Dog walked a few times a week (morning, midday, or evening) for my Nashua Neighbor's dogs: two poodle mixes and one lab/border collie mix. For a few months during this same year, I also cat sat my sister-in-law's two kitties for three months. 2021-2022 Pupdate - Walked my Boston neighbor's two dogs every weekday during my lunch break. They have two dogs, a King Charles cavalier and an 80 lbs golden retriever. I even got to be there dog handler in their wedding so let me know if that’s of interest for you! Either to be one or need one. Throughout the years, I’ve also helped various dog owners sporadically on Rover with their dog walking needs. Lastly, I consistently dog sit my brother's mini golden and my family's corgi quite often. However, I'm not looking to do more dog sitting, just walks and drop ins. Prior to joining Rover, I helped take care of my family’s corgi all 13.5 years 🪽as well as friends and family’s pets (kitties included). Especially with the pandemic, I’ve had many opportunities. I also was a part of a service dog training club in college that trains Yellow Labs so I have some experience with service dogs and have helped at animal shelters. For other types of community service, I volunteered at a pet store caring for kitties and also did some kitten cuddling for a foster parent of several cats.
