I adjust activities, depending on the specific dog and their needs. I love to walk and hike, and for active dogs, I know of many trails and parks within 10-15 minutes of my home. For lower-energy dogs, we walk around my neighborhood and spend time in the yard. I have a plethora of enrichment toys and games - puzzles, snuffle rugs, kong wobbles, and more. Totally depends on the dogs and their unique needs.

I have been fostering dogs for over a year. In the past year, I've cared for eleven foster dogs as they wait for their forever homes; in addition to this, I am the first person friends and family call to watch their dogs when they go out of town. Over the past year, I've dog-sat for seven different friends and family members, caring for pit mixes, boxers, a bernedoodle, golden doodles, and several rescue mixes. I am experienced working with all kinds of dogs; large and small, young puppies to senior dogs in need of additional medical support. I've completed Family Dog I and Family Dog II training classes at Tails-U-Win in Manchester, CT, with my parents' German Shepherd mix.

Emily is a wonderful dog sitter! She has taken great care of my dog, Georgia, on multiple occasions. Georgia is a pretty active pup, and loves staying with Emily because she takes her on long nature walks. I never have any concerns about leaving Georgia with her, and I know Georgia looks forward to it because she always has a blast!
Emily is the most responsible and loving pet caregiver I know. She is one of a very small group of people I trust to watch my three-legged rescue dog. She and her extremely kind and responsible boyfriend have fostered a dozen dogs in the past year alone. They know how to care for puppies, middle aged dogs, and elderly dogs. They’ve cared for dogs with behavioral issues and medical issues. Emily is sweet and caring and absolutely loves dogs. There is no one better for the job!
