Emily is an exceptionally trustworthy and caring dog walker who truly stands out. Having grown up on a farm, she has been surrounded by animals her entire life, which has given her a deep understanding of their needs, behaviours, and personalities. She also has a dog of her own, so she knows firsthand the level of care, attention, and responsibility that pet owners expect. This personal experience makes her not only reliable but genuinely empathetic toward both dogs and their owners. Emily is dependable, attentive, and kind, and she builds strong bonds with the animals she looks after. Emily has been dog sitting for us on and off over the last year and has been an absolute life saver for us. We both work full time and I have had numerous health scares over the last year where I have suddenly had to go into hospital or to last minute appointments. Emily has always managed to save the day and keep our rescue lab Bentley happy and healthy. He is a very large dog with anxiety but Emily manages him well and he’s very comfortable with her and is always excited to see her. She listens to our instructions to the letter and we have never had any concerns about Bentley while he’s in her care. She’s affectionate and patient with Bentley and is unphased by his size and (sometimes challenging) behaviour.

Schedule
• I am home for at least 20 hours a day, so your dog will enjoy plenty of company, care, and attention. • Weekday drop-off and pick-up is available from 11am onwards. • Weekend drop-off and pick-up times are fully flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
• No children or cats here—just my (very friendly!) Staffy mix. • I only host one guest dog at a time, so your pup will get plenty of space and attention. • We have a secure, fully enclosed garden for safe play and outdoor time. • Please note that my male dog is not yet neutered, so I cannot currently accept unspayed females. • Visiting dogs must be toilet and crate trained, as dogs are crated when left unattended for their safety.
Pets
A typical day
• I provide plenty of both mental and physical enrichment, including puzzle games, sensory activities, dog-friendly TV, and outdoor play. • Dogs have access to our secure, enclosed garden throughout the day (unless requested otherwise), with plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and play. • In warmer weather, we also have a puppy pool for extra fun. • Visiting dogs are treated like family and are welcome on the sofa and bed for cuddles and relaxation.
