Animal loving Veterinary Student
I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was 8. I am always the first person family and friends call when they need their pets looking after. I really love all animals and want to provide them with the best possible care and fun. I have extensive experience looking after dogs of all ages and sizes. I have been a dog walker for the charity cinnamon Trust for more than 4 years, where I have met many amazing dogs and developed lasting friendships with their owners. I also worked for 2 years as a kennel assistant at a local kennels, where I was in charge of looking after lots of dogs. This involved feeding, walking, bathing, grooming and, of course, playing and cuddles. Over the past 3 years I have also done a number of weeks housesitting all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, birds and small animals. I also have experience training puppies as I have been a primary day caregiver for puppies while their owners have been at work. I now have my own dogs called Forest, an 8 month male Cocker spaniel, and River, a 2 yr old female German shepherd.

Emily looked after our Sheltie, Brodie for 4 nights, I had photos and updates. He settled in very quickly and got on well with Emily”s dogs, especially Forest! He came home relaxed and contented, so clearly had a good time. I would not hesitate to use Emily again and recommend her services.

Emily is an amazing dog sitter! She’s looked after our 18 month old golden retriever twice now and this time was for 11 nights… both times our dog has had the best time! We felt completely at ease leaving her with Emily and would definitely book Emily again :)

Schedule
I am currently a veterinary student and so have lots of free time around my lectures and at the weekends. I have a car so I am able to travel and so I can offer walks further out from the main city. I have 2 of my own dogs who absolutely adore doggy company and love to play.

I am an experienced dog walker and house sitter and I am used to fitting around the needs of the owner and the animal. I am also very experienced with taking pictures of animals so I can keep you up to date with everything I get up to My 2 dogs get walked for at least an hour and a half around the nearby fields a day.
Pets
A typical day
I always make sure dogs are happy and mentally stimulated during their stay. I try to follow their familiar routines as much as possible including timings, feeding, and walks. I love going for long walks in the countryside, and particularly like walking around Ashton Court. My dogs love running around the countryside near where we live.
