I make sure the animal is comfortable with me and that all of its needs are met (food, water, exercise, bathroom, playtime). I just try to make the pup or cat as happy as possible while maintaining a trusting and comfortable environment.

I would love to know if the dog or cat has any medical history or any allergies. Are they good with other dogs? Have any triggers while on walks? Happy to accommodate any need. I don't have any breed preferences but I do admit I have a soft spot for beagles :)
A typical day
I love going on long walks in Volunteer Park, the Ravenna Ravine, or wherever you need! I'm also happy to go on runs with your pup if that's what's needed!

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and love them to pieces. I also love cats, and have two of my own. I'm constantly housesitting, dogsitting, and catsitting for friends and family throughout Seattle and I'm comfortable with animals of all ranges and ages! I love the outdoors and would love to take your dog on a walk in a nearby park or just around the block. I'm comfortable with all types of weather and with all breeds. A few years ago, I interned at a veterinary clinic and have been exposed to a variety of medical issues. I am also comfortable administering oral medication as my beagle at home takes allergy medicine each day. I have a passion for animals of all kinds and would love to meet your pet. Emily is a good friend of more than 15 years. She has watched my dog, Kit, multiple times. Kit is always happy and clearly well-cared for when we return. Emily provides the necessary care for Kit, and goes above and beyond. Emily is extremely fit and was able to provide Kit with the walks she needed, the playtime, and more! Emily is always our go-to sitter whenever we need Kit to be watched, whether it's for the day, a long weekend, or even a week! She's great with all dogs and makes sure Kit is always safe. Kit is always excited to be dropped off with Emily!
