Loving care for your cats
Hi, we’re Emily and John! We know leaving your pets is never easy, so we want to help you to have complete peace of mind with someone who treats them like family. We’ve both grown up around animals, I’ve always had cats and understand all their quirky personalities, while John is great with big dogs and helps look after a lively Bavarian Mountain Hound. Having dog and cat-sat for friends and family before, we know how rewarding it is and would love to look after your furry family member. What sets us apart: Extra-loving care: All our hands-on experience comes straight from caring for our own pets. I’ve looked after cats that needed pill and liquid medication, as well as managing long-term conditions like arthritis, to my own lovely Twinkle who reached the grand age of 19! so I'm completely comfortable keeping them cozy, happy, and getting whatever they need.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time as a Yoga teacher and volunteering on Tuesdays on a farm, so I can be flexible with my days. Whilst John works full-time on a Hybrid schedule (normally in the office 2 days maximum during the week.)

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a 2-bedroom, ground-floor flat in St.Albans. The flat is very peaceful, on a quiet road ideal for sleeping doggies and cats. When walkies calls, we have easy access to Verulamium Park and local green spaces. There is plenty of room for a litter tray, bedding, dog cage if need - happy to accomdate what your dog or cat needs to feel comfortable and safe.
A typical day
For the dogs, we are lucky to have fantastic local parks nearby that are perfect for long, adventure walks, and on indoor days I’m more than happy to use their favorite toys (just bring them along! to help burn off some extra energy. For any cats, I love keeping them active with their own interactive toys (please feel free to pack your cat's favorites), and our space has plenty of cozy hideouts and spots for them to practice their best sneak attacks and spring into play.
