I have had dogs my whole life and the same for our 3 kids (age 11-15) who adore dogs. So we have gone through all life stages with them. We enjoy when we have other dogs visit and shower them in love and attention. Our dog also enjoys having a friend to play with too. We have experience with a variety of breeds and experienced giving oral and topical medications.

Emily took such good care of our Daisy! We could tell right away, at our meet and greet, how much she loves animals. This was our first time using a Rover sitter, so we were a little unsure of how it would go. Emily put us at ease, by sending us daily updates and photos. She seemed to fit right in to the family routine. We could enjoy our trip, knowing that Daisy was happy, and well cared for! We'll definitely be scheduling with Emily again!
This is the second time we've used Emily and she is wonderful! Our dog Diego loves being there and playing with their dog Maggie. She sends the cutest photos and Diego is always exhausted when he comes home. Highly recommend!
Great with communication and flexibility for some difficult travel. Our doggo had a wonderful holiday vacation with their family and pup.
Diego had a great time at Emily’s! He was there for a full week and came home exhausted. She was wonderful to work with, very flexible when we had a couple changes, and kept me updated with photos almost daily.
Emily and her family were wonderful! They took such good care of our dog. Kept us up to date with fun pictures all week. We will definitely bring our puppy there again!
Emily and her family took the BEST care of our dog, Archie. They made Archie feel right at home. I was sent pictures that showed just how comfortable Archie was, he was happy and truly, living his best life!! Emily's family dog, Maggie, was so sweet and the two dogs really seemed to get along well. I would absolutely recommend Emily for your pet's stay. Her and her family were SO kind and easy to communicate with, very prompt and helpful. This was our first "Rover" experience and I feel so fortunate we found this wonderful family.

Schedule
As a stay at home mom, there is a lot of flexibility for what your dog needs whether it be time outside, bathroom breaks, walks, eating, cuddles, anxiety, play time, etc. Our 3 kids will also give them lots of love and attention. If your dog enjoys car rides, I can take them with when needing to drive the kids around. We treat our dog as a member of the family and take her on errands and car rides if the places are dog friendly. We allow dogs on furniture, but if you prefer we not us not to, we can certainly do what you prefer.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a friendly Aussiedoodle named Maggie who is so good with other dogs. She generally adapts to what the other dog needs and is submissive to those who she senses are scared. She enjoys having a buddy to hang out with her. We do require a meet and greet prior to ensure everyone is comfortable. We have a large fenced in yard to run and play that has a tree line to watch for squirrels, birds, etc. We allow our dog on couches and beds, but can also keep them off if that is your preference. We have tons of dog toys for play time and dog/food puzzle options. Our dog is great at sharing. When I need to run a quick errand, I would need to kennel/crate them. Also can kennel/crate at night if that is preferred, otherwise, I'm sure my kids would love to have a dog to cuddle with at night. Just let me know what your pet requires. I'd also appreciate when and how your dog needs its space - during eating, sleeping, breaks, etc. We know you will be missing your dog and we can send you updates and pictures daily unless otherwise directed. Due to allergies, at this time, we cannot take on long haired dogs...sorry. Non-shedding dogs such as doodles, and short hair dogs with minor shedding would be just fine. A typical day
Large fenced in yard with tree line to keep busy watching for animals or to relax in the sun. Easy to play fetch. We can go on a neighborhood walk or there are several trails nearby. We can go for car rides to dog friendly stores or dropping kids off places. We have a pluthera of toys, but if they have a special toy ot item, we will make sure they have it. Your dog will be shown a lot of with love from snuggles, scratches, belly rubs and playtime.
