I love your pets like they’re mine!
Hi, my name is Emily and over my lifetime I have had 13 dogs and 7 cats (along with other pets such as bearded dragons, a gold capped conure, snakes, and more)! I currently have an American Miniature Shepherd named Piglet, who I love with my entire heart. I’ve been using Rover for about 4 years, and pet sitting for 6. I have many years of experience and lots of loyal regulars, but I’m always looking for more animals to love! Since I have grown up in a household with at least 3 dogs and 2 cats at a time, I do NOT charge extra fees for extra animals. I’m used to large packs and I want to keep pet care affordable for everyone, including those with many animals. Extra pets just means extra love 😊 I have experience with: * Administering medication (oral, injection, and topical) * Reactive dogs * Animal aggressive dogs * A variety of animals * Animal behavior and body language * A variety of dog breeds, from Dachshunds to Rottweilers to Pitbulls to Great Danes. I likely have experience with your pup’s breed, or at least vast knowledge on the breed * Training (adult dogs and puppies - I have trained 3 of my own dogs) * Puppies as young as 4 weeks old * Kittens as young as 4 weeks old * Animal first aid I will take care of your pet like they are my own, and I love my pets more than anything! I often read about animal behavior and health and I can assure you that your pet will be extremely safe in my hands. I will continue to implement your training during my time with your dog if requested. I am familiar with many training techniques and have worked with professional trainers in the past. Booking with me means your dog will be treated exactly as you treat them! I will love and care for your pets as if they are my own, ensuring a stress-free experience for you and your pet(s).

Safety, trust & environment
I will care for your pet at your home and keep them safe in different ways depending on the situation. If you do not have a fenced yard, I will take your pet out on a leash always! If you do have a fenced yard, I will let your pet into your yard and supervise them the entire time they are outside. I will send pictures of your pet every time I see them, along with an update! I promise to handle your pet gently with care, love, and safety. I also have a car and no problem with driving your pet to any appointments they need! I promise to keep your house clean and leave it better than I found it. I enjoy house keeping and want to make your experience going away as smooth as possible.

This was the first time we left our dog with someone other than family or a close friend. Emily did an amazing job of easing our anxiety as well as keeping our very anxious dog comfortable while we were away. She learned our dog’s personality quickly and kept us updated with regular updates and pictures. She got the cutest pictures of our dog too. We came home to a clean house and a very happy dog! We will definitely rebook Emily in the future!

If you have pet that you love more than anything than you need to have Emily as you pet sitter . She is an amazing person who loves animals so much . She is completely dedicated to making sure she gets to your pet as well as take care of them as if they were her own .we went away for about 2 weeks and not knowing if it was going to snow again I hired a snow removal person to clear the driveway , walkway and stairs .. welll …. The guy never show the day it snowed and we had at least 7 more inches of snow .. i was worried that Emily would not be able to take care of our cat Oreo because of all the snow .. i was amazed and so greatful when I saw she still made it .. that is 100 % dedication !,, Thank you so much Emily for all you do ! Oreo misses you ❤️
Choosing a pet sitter online can feel like a leap of faith, but Emily made it an absolute breeze. I was initially nervous about having someone stay in our home, but after seeing her glowing reviews, her high number of repeat clients, and having a great meet-and-greet, I felt completely confident in my choice. Emily is a true professional. She handled a complex medication schedule for one of our pups—administering tablets three times a day—which was a huge relief since that midday dose is critical. She kept us updated with regular feedback and photos, and I really appreciated that she reached out with questions when needed; it showed she truly cared about getting things right. The real "above and beyond" moment happened when a forecasted 1" of snow turned into an unexpected 8–10" blizzard overnight. Without being asked (and way beyond her duties), Emily took it upon herself to shovel our path and driveway. Emily clearly goes the extra mile. If you want peace of mind and a sitter who treats your home and pets like her own, hire her!
Emily is fabulous! She very quickly earned my trust and is just as quickly earning the trust of my furbabies. We are very grateful for her!

Schedule
I currently work part time on MWF from 10am-4pm at a school for children/adolescents with autism and related developmental disorders. I am a homebody, so once I get home from work I am there to stay! I go to URI part time as well - working towards a degree in psychology and social work.
